Terms of Service

Purify is operated by StatementFlow. By accessing or using Purify, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service Description

Purify provides a web data API that processes web pages into clean content and structured formats. The service is provided as-is, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without prior notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Scrape websites in violation of their terms of service or robots.txt directives.
  • Collect personal data from third-party websites without an appropriate legal basis.
  • Conduct unauthorized security testing, penetration testing, or denial-of-service attacks.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the API without prior written consent.
  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and the terms of websites you access.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of extracted content. Results may vary depending on the structure and accessibility of the target website.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Purify and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

Our total cumulative liability for claims under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. For Free plan users, total liability is limited to USD $1.00.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Purify and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or violation of third-party rights.

Billing and Refunds

Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, sales tax, and refunds on our behalf.

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Paddle.
  • Pricing may change with at least 14 days' notice.
  • After cancellation, paid access continues through the current billing period.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts with outstanding payments.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. We are not liable for termination of access.

Intellectual Property

Purify source code is released under Apache 2.0. The Purify name, logo, and brand assets are proprietary and may not be used without permission. Extracted content belongs to its respective owners and remains subject to their terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms. Changes will appear on this page with an updated date. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
