Purify is operated by StatementFlow ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using Purify ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service Description
Purify provides a web scraping API that converts web pages into Markdown format. The Service is provided as-is, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without prior notice.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- —Scrape websites in violation of their terms of service or robots.txt directives.
- —Collect personal data from third-party websites without appropriate legal basis.
- —Conduct unauthorized security testing, penetration testing, or denial-of-service attacks.
- —Resell or sublicense access to the API without prior written consent.
- —Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and the terms of any websites you access through it.
3. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the content extracted by the Service. Results may vary depending on the structure and accessibility of the target website.
4. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PURIFY OR ITS OPERATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim. If you are on the Free plan, our total liability is limited to USD $1.00.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Purify and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
6. Billing and Refunds
All payments for Purify are processed by Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, sales tax, and refunds on our behalf.
- —Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Paddle.
- —We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance.
- —If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- —We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with outstanding payments.

7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We are not liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access.
8. Intellectual Property
The Purify source code is released under the Apache 2.0 open-source license. The Purify name, logo, and brand assets are proprietary and may not be used without prior written permission. Content extracted through the Service belongs to the respective website owners and is subject to their terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
