Acceptable Use Policy

1. Permitted Uses

• —Extract structured data from public sources for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
• —Build applications, tools, and services that integrate with the Purify API.
• —Use the self-hosted version without usage limits under the Apache 2.0 license.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• —Bypass access controls, authentication, paywalls, or CAPTCHAs on target websites.
• —Scrape or collect personal data (emails, phone numbers, addresses) without a lawful basis.
• —Conduct denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, load testing, or deliberate abuse against any target.
• —Circumvent rate limits or usage quotas through any means (multiple accounts, key rotation, etc.).
• —Resell or sublicense API access without prior written consent.
• —Scrape websites in violation of their terms of service or robots.txt directives when this would be unlawful.
• —Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.
• —Distribute malware, phishing content, or other harmful material using extracted data.

3. Monitoring and Enforcement

We monitor API usage patterns to detect abuse. If we determine that your usage violates this policy, we may:

• —Issue a warning and request corrective action.
• —Temporarily suspend your API access while we investigate.
• —Permanently terminate your account and revoke all API keys.
• —Report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.

4. Reporting Abuse

If you believe someone is using the Purify API to violate this policy, please report it to hello@purify.verifly.pro. Include as much detail as possible, including URLs and timestamps.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
